Susan Rivera talks with host Andrew Dakopolos about her career trajectory and autism research, including how a summer research program for first-generation college students changed her life. Rivera, who was a faculty member of the MIND Institute and the Center for Mind and Brain, as well as and chair of the UC Davis Department of Psychology for many years, is now the dean of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences at the University of Maryland.
